Originally from College Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio, Written Quincey has called Tulsa, Oklahoma home over the past decade. A visionary with a creative lens through artistic expression, this gentleman capitalizes on favor and skill to enhance one of the world’s most ancient forms of literature...poetry. Written Quincey, known to many as Q, has traveled the nation since 2000 and performed in over 50 venues. Since 2014, he has held the position as the Artist in Residence at Tulsa Central High School for Fine and Performing Arts. In addition to receiving several awards, he is a Poetry Committee member at Living Arts of Tulsa, a Slam Poetry Coach with Louder Than A Bomb, a 2018 TEDxUniversity of Tulsa Fellow, and the founder of the renowned Cyper120: Experience which is responsible for the urban artistic renaissance in Tulsa. Recently, Written was one of the artists featured on the highly anticipated  “Fire in Little Africa” project released by Motown Records, and on July 30th, 2021 he released his debut mixtape album, “TardyPass.AChillHopUnder’FluenceSomeCoolShit.TheMixtape.” to much acclaim and praise.
